To begin our inspiring journey, let’s turn back to 1070 BC in Napata, Kerma, where the Kingdom of Kush flourished. This ancient Nubian kingdom celebrated a beloved snack known as shul why-why, or "Take One." Growing up in a Nubian household, I discovered the magic of unique family recipes for shul why-why, treasured and passed down through generations. Traditionally prepared during holidays and major celebrations, I am honored to share this cherished family tradition with you.
